It has been my heartfelt wish for a long time to form a band with two horns and just bass and drums. The absence of a harmonic instrument is a challenge and a chance at the same time. It opens up artistic freedom and creative possibilities.

Gerhart Ornig, is a much sought after soloist and section trumpet player from Styria. He is teaching Jazztrompete at the Musik und Kunstuniversität der Stadt Wien.

Tobias Pustelnik moves between his current home in Paris and Vienna back and forth and is known in both cities as fine Soloist as well as sideman.

Dusan Novakov originally from Serbia he ist the first call drummer in the Austrian Jazz-scene.

Uli Langthaler, leader, well known bassist has been teaching at the Universities of Vienna and Klagenfurt for many years. He is Composer /Arranger of most of the tunes and Jazz-compositiones by Ch.Parker, B.Strayhorn ,Th.Monk, and many others, which take part of the program.

This line up allows the experienced Jazzplayers in this Band to experiment with new sounds and grooves.

Special Guest, Percussionist Andi Steirer, well known for his work for the Austrian Pop and Funk scene has recorded/toured with Ludwig Hirsch, Reinhard Fendrich ,Wolfgang Ambros and Karl Ratzer or Ostinato. Whenever he is joining a tune with us, he gives it a special flavour.
